 Council Information
The Fr. M. Joseph McDonnel Council serves both Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and Saint Maria Goretti parishes in the Carmel/Westfield area. Council Meetings
Regular business meetings are on the 1st Monday of each month beginning at 6:45 p.m. with the praying of the rosary. In the event of a holiday the Business Meeting is typically moved to the second Monday of the month. About Our Council Our council was founded in February, 1993. It is named after Father M. Joseph McDonnell who was the first pastor at Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish. The Council works closely with Our Lady of Mount Carmel and Saint Maria Goretti parishes and is engaged in many charitable activities throughout each year.
